USPS Unveils "Every Door Direct Mail™" Program

The USPS recently announced their new program, "Every Door Direct Mail™" which offers customers the ability to mail to every address on a carrier route without the need to purchase a mailing list. According to the USPS, the program has been designed to, "give smaller businesses an easy, low-cost way to get marketing mail to a local audience." (USPS.COM)

The "Every Door Direct Mail™" program requires that mail be dropped at the Post Office that services the targeted carrier route, 5,000 maximum mail pieces per mailer per day (minimum of 200), and per-piece weight: up to 3.3 ounces. Also, only standard mail flats apply for this program.

For effortless direct mailing, the USPS also created a helpful web-tool for the "Every Door Direct Mail™" mail program. This web-tool allows customers to choose their locations, residential or residential/business customers, view the number of customers in a given area, view estimated postage costs, access all required documentation and more.

So if you are a pizzeria, barber shop, or other local business looking for a cost conscious way to effectively market to your customers visit USPS.com/everydoordirectmail or contact your account manager to learn more on how this tool can help you save time and money!
