First Class & Standard

United Mail processes hundreds of millions of all classes mail each year through our automated equipment. That's big volume. By effectively managing postal logistics through co-mingling and/or drop shipping, we are able to help you achieve the maximum postal discounts. When you consider that postage can represent from 30 to 75 percent of total production costs, it's definitely worth looking at.

Mail Co-mingling of First Class & Standard At-A-Glance:
The process of merging multiple streams of mail into a single stream within the same ZIP code to qualify for postal discounts. The USPS requires a minimum of 150 pieces of mail per ZIP code to qualify for five-digit discounted postal rates. Co-mingling mail improves the opportunity that more ZIP codes will fall in this 150-piece minimum.

Many companies have been taking advantage of Co-mingling First Class mail for years.  Co-mingling Standard mail is a more recent trend and proves to offer important benefits beyond cost savings. When standard (or marketing) mail is commingled, customers can more economically combine and ship both control mailings as well as test groups.  Co-mingling offers the opportunity to extend a company's reach, impact, and response through the use of direct mail.

Courier Journal Article On December 16th, 2011 the Courier Journal posted an inaccurate article about United Mail. The title of the article was "JCPS admits test score mix-up". The attached letter from JCPS (our customer) tells the accurate story about the error in the ACT mailing. It is unfortunate that the media delivered inaccurate information and even mentioned United Mail in the article. »
