RECEIVING CLERK

Location: Louisville, KY
Hours: Monday – Friday, 11 am to 7:30 pm (Overtime as needed)

We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a warehouse/receiving/inventory control environment. You must be familiar with using a computer and be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and occasionally move up to 100 lbs. MUST have experience with cycling counting, receiving, and manual entries into an inventory database system.

This position moves material using pallet jacks, forklifts and/or scissor lifts and is responsible for tracking and locating all client supplied material. Position will pull orders, do cycle and inventory counts and enter information into computerized system. You may also do 3 to 4 regular local deliveries per day.

Must have a clean driving record, a valid drivers license, and the ability to pass the Department of Transportation Fitness Medical Exam and drug/alcohol test.

PRINT OPERATOR

Location: Louisville, KY

Summary

MUST have 1 or more years of printer experience and have computer aptitude!

The Print Operator will be responsible for the day to day operation of all color inkjet presses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Print Operator will be responsible for making sure that the job prints on time and with the highest quality, according to established ISO quality procedures. Below is a list of primary responsibilities and requirements for this position:

  • Be familiar or have experience with color management/match
  • Operation of color inkjet presses
  • Ability to work with and explain issues to technicians
  • Ability to follow all ISO work instructions
  • Opening of stock for ongoing print work
  • QC of all printed material
  • Handling of all printed material (routing, stacking, etc)
  • Inventory of all printer room consumables
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of color inkjet presses
  • Keeping print area clean and uncluttered at all times
  • Logging of all print jobs in Digital Print Log
  • Operate manual pallet jack (training provided)

Must have good mechanical aptitude for clearing jams and other routine maintenance

MACHINE OPERATORS

Summary

The Machine Operator manufactures and processes mailing materials and finished mail at the highest level of quality and productivity possible. Thoroughly following instructions and keeping accurate documentation of all work produced.

DIGITAL PRINT SUPERVISOR

Location: Louisville, KY

Directly leads employees in the Digital Print Department. Responsibilities include daily set up and processing, training employees, project management, planning, assigning, and directing work and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback along with continuous coaching for their development.
  • Maintain timekeeping records by approving timecard, vacation/PTO requests, etc.
  • Acts as a resource in resolving issues brought to the Department.
  • Assist in the adherence to ISO procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and best practices.
  • Communicate and provide assistance to production personnel to ensure timely and correct processing of client job orders.

Facilitate the flow of job tickets through the Digital Print department:

  • Understand the flow of job tickets throughout numerous departments and look for ways to optimize the process.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are on hand for printing jobs: Paper, toner, etc.
  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly maintenance is being performed on print equipment.
  • Assess quality of each operator’s work as well as output totals and coach for improvement.

DIGITAL PRINT DESIGNER

Location: Louisville, KY

Summary

The Digital Print Designer will be responsible for merging customer data and artwork to meet the job ticket instructions. This is not a graphic design position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Layout and design customer specific documents within industry standard Variable Data Print Software for color prepress printing, inserting and match jobs.
  • Verify that documents meet USPS mailing requirements and capture personalization, postal preparation, and specific client requirements.
  • Mail Merge client data to the laser template as required.
  • Assist clients to help them achieve quality creative pieces for use in their direct marketing.
  • Follow all ISO work instructions.
  • Operate all production laser equipment as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

GMC, Planet Press, Color Management, Graphic Design, and InDesign experience a plus; Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced user of all Microsoft Applications. Knowledgeable of direct marketing techniques and tools is preferred.

MACHINE OPERATOR, TRAINING PROVIDED

Location: Cincinnati, Oh
Type: Full-Time position

Job Description

Operates inkjet and mailing machine inserting equipment on the production floor, during the assigned time frames, to the established quality standards. Primary responsibilities include equipment operation, mail sortation completion of production paperwork and maintenance of a clean work area, as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Production Supervisor. Requires flexibility to work overtime and various shift schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform proper machine start-up and shut down procedures.
  • Complete jobs scheduled for the assigned equipment according to the work orders and sample board, within the established time frames for each job.
  • Insure that equipment has adequate supplies to complete full production.
  • Operate assigned equipment according to the work orders and sample boards, within the established quality standards and at the rated speeds for each job with minimal supervision.
  • Reads, reviews and interprets instructions on sample board using key information for set ups and operations, including trouble shooting and correction as necessary.
  • Checks and verifies job components against sample board to codes and other key information and indicators.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area at all times.
  • Maintain, complete, and verify paperwork for each production run documenting: production run time, spoilage, down time, maintenance sheets, postal information, meter readings, and other production logs as directed by supervisor.
  • Checks accuracy of paperwork pertaining to job, including counts, tray tags, box labels, samples and seeds.
  • Sort, tray, strap and prepare finished mail pieces in compliance with U.S. Postal regulations.
  • Adhere to policies and guidelines pertaining to confidentiality, security, safety and professional conduct.
  • Other duties as assigned.
